Welcome to Heulwen Guesthouse, Snowdonia
Heulwen Guest House lies on the outskirts of Llanfachreth and offers four-star accommodation. Llanfachreth is a small village near the centre of the Snowdonia National Park, just 3.5 miles north of the old Welsh market town of Dolgellau.
The Guest House is owned and run by Heulwen and Andy Watts, who established the business in 1985.
Heulwen is a spacious south-facing bungalow, set in its own landscaped garden with fantastic views of the mountains and forests. The tranquil setting offers you the choice of forest walks, climbing, fishing, mountain biking (including nearby Coed y Brenin) or just touring the area by car.
The accommodation consists of three large south-facing bedrooms, all with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities (shower, toilet and hand basin) and patio doors leading into the garden. There is also a twin/double room available with hand basin.
All bedrooms have central heating, television with DVD player, clock/radio alarm, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and information booklets about attractions in the area.
Heulwen makes an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
The Guest Bathroom
The spacious guest bathroom consists of a bath, shower, toilet and hand basin. There is also a separate toilet with hand basin.
A large and comfortably furnished lounge is centred around a stone fireplace and whether you want to watch television, play board games, or simply enjoy the superb views, the seating is arranged for all tastes.
The Outside Area
Leading from the lounge is a large patio area, decking and lawn, where you can while away long summer evenings.
There is ample off-road parking and facilities available for storing and washing down mountain bikes.
